Describe yourself: Smart, Strong, Kind

Cullen, my love,

We am so grateful for the gift of your life. You have made the first decade of this whole parenting thing so easy for us because you are such a good kid. We couldn’t be more proud of the young man you are. You nailed it when you described yourself as smart, strong and kind because you are indeed all three.

You had no trouble switching schools this year and with minimal help on our end, have not had an average on your report cards lower than a 96. You are physically strong and a great athlete, but also strong as a leader to your brothers, humble in your spirit and gentle in your actions. You are so very kind and we rarely worry about you making a decision that will hurt another. I love playing lacrosse with you, sharing our love for the written word and answering all the thoughtful questions you ask. Daddy loves exploring new music with you, talking sports and telling jokes. Your brothers just love to do whatever you are doing, all the time.

We are so lucky we were chosen to be your family and love you so so much. Happy 10th Birthday our darling son!

  1. I can’t believe that he is Ten now, I remember when I went to visit you when he was born. Give him a hug from me and tell him that I meet him when he was born. Hugs for you too
